Is there really anyone out there who doesn’t want nicer, shinier hair? How about anyone who wouldn’t like their hair to grow faster, or even to increase the thickness of it? Yeah, I didn’t think so. You could run out to every salon in town and shell out a fortune for all of the brand name products that promise to give you shinier, thicker, easier growing hair. You can also run out to your local spa and spend hundreds of dollars on hair masks that promise to do the same thing. Or you can just look around your home and use products that you more than likely have on hand to help grow your hair. I’m talking about natural products that when used appropriately will aid in your hair growth. If you don’t have some of these products handy, they only cost a few dollars to purchase. So which option do you choose? Yup, I knew it would be the natural products that you already have at home.
Let’s talk about aloe vera. Have you ever had a sunburn? If so, then I’m sure you have aloe vera somewhere in your home. If not, its very cheap to purchase in almost any store. Most people agree that aloe vera is one of the best and most effective remedies when it comes to helping your hair grow, not to mention making it even shinier than it already is. By using aloe vera, you will activate new hair growth, in addition to aiding the already existing growing hair follicles by increasing the blood circulation to your scalp. To start with, you can make an aloe vera shampoo that you can use every day. All you need to make this shampoo is aloe vera, wheat germ oil, and coconut milk. This treatment is about the only one that you can use on a daily basis. Everything else shouldn’t be used more than once a week, and sometimes even less. One of the best aloe vera hair masks that you can make contain aloe vera, olive oil, and honey. To make this mask you’ll need to determine exactly how much you’ll need. This will depend on the length and thickness of your hair. Remember that it is better to have too much than not enough. If you make too much, you can save it for the next time. Mix equal parts aloe vera and olive oil. Then add a few teaspoons of honey. Add some warm water to it, but not too much. Just enough so that the mixture is not too thick and pasty to apply. Massage the mixture into your scalp for about ten minutes or so, and wait about 30 minutes to shampoo it out. As this mixture is very sticky, you may have to wash your hair more than once to get it all out. Another good thing about aloe vera is that it can help stop dandruff since it is a cooling agent.
Eggs are another amazing home remedy to aid in hair growth. Eggs contain very high levels of zinc, proteins, sulphur, iron, iodine, and phosphorus. Who doesn’t have eggs in their kitchen? If for some reason you don’t, then you can find them in any grocery store and some gas stations for just a few dollars. All you need for this hair mask is two eggs. Simply crack two eggs over your head, massage it into your scalp, and let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes before washing out.
Garlic is another natural ingredient you can use on your hair. Not only is it good to keep vampires away, it makes an excellent hair mask to prevent scalp fungus, as well as to help prevent your hair from falling out. Simply boil seven to eight crushed cloves of garlic. Add enough olive oil to the mix so that it is pasty enough to apply. Apply the paste only at the roots of your hair. Leave the paste on for about 30 to 45 minutes, then rinse out. Unless you are truly adamant about keeping the vampires away, you may want to use a very fragrant shampoo, and wash your hair more than once.
