DOVE "Be the Next Pro-age woman" ESSAY CONTEST OFFICIAL RULES

1) NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. TO PARTICIPATE, ALL ENTRANTS MUST BE FEMALE, CURRENT LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE U.S., 40 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AND HAVE INTERNET ACCESS AS OF 1/27/07. To participate in this Contest, beginning on 1/27/07 at 12:00:01 a.m. EST, log on to www.Doveproage.com AND complete an Official Casting Call Entry Form. Entrant must then submit a current original and unpublished color or black and white photograph of themselves as well as a written statement (200 words or less) describing what "beauty after forty" means to them. The essay and the photo shall be collectively referred to as the "Entry." A valid Entry must include both the essay and the photograph. Photographs must be only in GIF (.gif) or JPEG (.jpg) format and may not exceed a file size larger than 200 KB. Entries must be submitted by 11:59:59 p.m. EST on 5/31/07. Limit one entry per person, household or address. To be eligible, neither portion of the Entry can have been previously published or submitted in any competition. In the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules, Entry will be void. Unilever HPC ("Sponsor") is not responsible for blurred, out of focus, dark or unclear photographs, or lost, late, incomplete, illegible, mutilated, or misdirected entries and/or delayed, garbled or corrupted data entries. By participating in this Contest, participants accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which shall be final, binding and conclusive on all matters. All entries must be completely original work products of the entrant. All entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. Contest begins at 12:00:01 a.m. EST on 1/27/07 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. EST on 5/31/07.

2) JUDGING: All eligible Entries received will be judged by a panel of independent judges on or about 6/8/07 based on the following criteria: Written Expression (Essay only- 50%), Sincerity (Essay only-40%) and Photo's Relevance (10%). In case of a tie, the Entries with the highest scores for Written Expression will be declared the winners. In the event not enough qualified entries are received, Sponsor need not award more prizes than entries received. Prizewinners will be notified by phone or mail on or about 6/15/07.

3) GRAND PRIZES (3): Three (3) Grand Prize Winners will receive a professional photo shoot and will get a chance to appear in an upcoming Dove Pro-Age promotional execution which will include one and could include all of the following: (a) print advertorial in a national women's magazine, (b) doveproage.com homepage feature, (c) Dove Dimensions direct mail. Finalists will not be required to pose nude during Photo Shoot. All Artists for the Photo Shoot will be chosen at the discretion of Sponsor. Photo releases may be required. If a Grand Prize Winner cannot accept prize, she will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. Sponsor will determine the location, time, date and duration of Photo Shoot. The location of the Photo Shoot will be in New York City OR within a 30-mile radius of the winner's home and winner may be required to travel to the specified location of Photo Shoot. If winner's residence is NOT within a 30-mile radius, Sponsor will provide transportation and hotel accommodations. (ARV: $2,500. ARV may vary based on winner's residence and location of the shoot for the Dove Pro-age Woman.) Winner must be able to participate in the photo shoot between 7/23/07 and 10/30/07. Any expenses not expressly stated herein, including transportation, parking, gratuities, other activities and meals are the sole responsibility of winner. Sponsor makes no warranty with respect to the Grand Prize and is not responsible for Photo Shoot cancellation or postponement. The cash equivalent of any portion of the Grand Prize is not permitted, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. (TOTAL ARV OF ALL PRIZES: $7,500) No substitutions permitted except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor will report value of prize as required by law. All taxes are the sole responsibility of winner.

4) ELIGIBILITY/OTHER CONDITIONS: Contest only open to current legal female residents of the U.S., 40 years of age or older who have Internet access as of 1/27/07. Employees of (and household family members of such employees) Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and the immediate family members of each are not eligible. Professional models and/or writers (persons who have been paid for their modeling and/or writing or who are employed as models or writers in any publication or other media) are not eligible. Void where prohibited, taxed or otherwise restricted by law. Taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winners. Each prizewinner is required to complete and return Affidavits of Eligibility/Publicity Releases. Affidavits of Eligibility/Publicity Releases must be returned within seven (7) days of notification or prize will be forfeited and, if feasible, the next highest Entry score will be awarded. No cash substitution for any prize, except at sole discretion of Sponsor. Prizes are not transferable. Acceptance of prize constitutes each finalist's permission for Sponsor to publish the photograph, submitted essay and/or her likeness or name for advertising purposes without additional compensation, where lawful. Submission of an Entry constitutes entrant's irrevocable assignment and transfer to Sponsor of all rights, title and interest in the photograph and essay, including, without limitation, all copyrights. All finalists will be required to irrevocably assign all such previous rights. Submission of an Entry grants Sponsor the right to modify, edit, adapt, alter, and publish and/or use the photograph and essay in any way in any and all media without limitation and without consideration or payment to the entrant.

6) RELEASE OF LIABILITY: All entrants release Sponsor and its respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents, employees and all others associated with the development and execution of this Contest from any and all liability with respect to, or in any way arising from, this contest and/or use of the prizes, including liability for personal injury, death, damages or loss. Sponsor is not responsible for printing errors.

By submitting and entering your photograph and essay, you consent to the use by Unilever or its agencies of your entry, your photograph, your essay, your full name, hometown and likeness for advertising and promotion in all media, now and in the future, worldwide, without restrictions. If your photograph and essay are selected for use, you agree that your sole compensation for use of your photograph, essay, full name, hometown, and likeness by Unilever or its agencies is a coupon for a Dove product that will be sent to you at the address you have supplied, together with a Release for you to sign.
