When on the market for a brand new hair straightener, I was looking for one that would make hair straightening fun and easy for me. Searching through multiple hair straighteners and reviews, I thought I was lost until I found the Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron. This hair straightener is ideal for getting rid of frizzy hair, styling, and control with its easy grips.
Ceramic Plates with Tourmaline Coating
Ceramic plates for hair straighteners are known for heating up evenly and creating maximum shine. Because the plates heat evenly, you don’t risk causing damage to your hair. Instead, you can be precise enough that your hair is straightened perfectly.
The plates are 100% ceramic, which creates quality, damage-free results. Some straighteners are only ceramic coated, which is something I was trying to avoid. It was fantastic to see that Solia had ceramic plates when trying to find the perfect hair straightener.
The tourmaline coating helps smooth and remove frizz from my hair. Between the ceramic plates and tourmaline coating, you are given salon quality results with straightened, frizz-free hair. The product also produces a quality shine that is natural without damaging my hair, even with consistent use.
Additionally, the ceramic plates provide a quick heating. Ceramic is known for its fast heating opposed to other hair straightening plate materials. The tourmaline and ceramic also use ion technology, which creates far-infrared heat and extra negative ions. This technology is proven to make your hair straighter, frizz-free without damaging your hair!
Most hair straighteners are made for anything except straightening, which isn’t what I wanted from my hair straightener. I wanted versatility in my product, so that I could experiment and play around with new styles. The beveled edges for the Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron allows for you to practicing curling or flipping your hair as well as straighten. This gives you so many options for hair styles, much more than an ordinary hair straightener. Having that freedom of choosing what you want to do with your hair makes Solia a fun and reliable product that you’ll want to keep on using. And even if you fear that the edges will get hot, they won’t! The beveled edges won’t put you at risk of burning your cheek or ear while straightening.
When you use your Solia for different hair styling, it’s well designed with variable changes for temperature ranging from 170 degrees Fahrenheit to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. If you just want to flip your hair, you can use a lower temperature, whereas straightening or curling require a higher temperature. It’s the perfect set-up! Now, you will be able to practice and stylize your hair any way you feel, and the Solia’s temperature controls with beveled edges let you do so without damaging your hair.
Easy to Grip
There is nothing scarier than a hair straightener that easily slips in your hands. It’s a product that heats up and is near your face, the risk of a burn is only increased if you can get an easy hold on it. That’s why, when I saw Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron’s reviews and how people loved it’s easy to grip handle, I was sold. The trick is the contoured edges that help you have a better hold on the straightener, making you able to straighten your hair with confidence.
You know a product is good when its company can promise a solid warranty. With Solia, you’re given a two year warranty that will make you feel confidence in the quality of this hair straightener. Two years is well worth the product’s price and quality of results. If you experience a faulty hair straightener, with proof of purchase, you’re able to trade it in for a new one!
Weight and Size
In terms of weight and size, the Solia is about average. It’s not so heavy that my arms get tired when I’m doing straightening or curling, which can take up to thirty to forty minutes. It’s 1-1/4” plates add to the styling quality. The thin plates make styling easier and more efficient, giving me natural curls as opposed to chunky, irregular curls that my friends have gotten from their hair straighteners.
